2016 Berklee Scholar Ariyana Woody awarded tuition scholarship to attend prestigious Berklee College of Music 5 week summer program.	Bandcamp Recordings The Blue Note Ensemble will release a MEDIA ALBUM on BANDCAMP in August 2014. This compilation will feature original music and repertoire performed during the 2013-2014 instructional year. Visit Bandcamp to listen to pre-release cuts from the album.	Berklee City Music Dean's List Featu Ayinde Williams, 2014 Berklee City Music Scholar is featured with other young musicians from around the country on the Dean's Set List.
JAZZ OUT 2014 The Richmond Youth Jazz Guild celebrated 6 years of jazz education and music scholarship with the annual JAZZ OUT concert. This year the concert featured 6 student ensembles at the VCU Grace Street Theater. Video highlights on the media page.	Essentially Ellington The Richmond Youth Jazz Guild took two ensembles to the Regional Essentially Ellington HS Jazz Festival on UNC Chapel Hill campus. 10 of our young musicians were recognized for "OUTSTANDING" performance.	Meeting Wynton Marsalis The students of RYJG had the honor of listening to the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra during their sound check.
Richmond Forum Performance The Blue Note Ensemble of the RYJG performs at the Landmark Theater for former President Bill Clinton in 2013.	Full Scholarship to Berklee The Berklee City Music program at Berklee College of Music awarded 16 young musicians a total of $2 million in full-tuition scholarships to support four years of study at the college. Six of the recipients were from Berklee City Music Network sites around the country, the other 10 were from Boston. The Richmond Youth Jazz Guild is one of the 32 Berklee City Music Network sites. the recipients attended Berklee's Five-Week Summer Performance Program on City Music Summer Scholarships.	Berklee Five Week Promo Richmond Youth Jazz Guild student, Drew Anderson, was featured on the 2013 recruitment video for the college.

Summer Jazz Boot Camp The Richmond Youth Jazz Guild hosts Summer Jazz Boot Camp annually at Muse Creative Workspace in Shockoe Bottom.
Meeting Christian McBride The Blue Note Ensemble performed a pre-show at the Ferguson Center in Newport News, VA. Students had the opportunity to talk and jam with Benny Green, Lewis Nash, Chris Potter, Ambrose Akinmusire, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and Christian McBride. Darryl Baugh, Morgan Burrs, Brandon Bowser, Ayinde Williams, and Drew Anderson	Jazz Workshop @ Berklee In 2013, Ayinde Williams received awarded scholarships to attend the Berklee College of Music Jazz Workshop The Jazz Workshop is a high-level workshop/ensemble that operates within Berklee’s Five Week Summer Performance Program. Berklee recruits some of the most talented, young jazz students in the world for this workshop. Students selected for this workshop are awarded a full scholarship covering tuition and room and board.	Jazz Workshop @ Berklee In the summer of 2013, Drew Anderson received a scholarship to Berklee Jazz Workshop. This is a high-level workshop/ensemble that operates within Berklee’s Five Week Summer Performance Program. Berklee recruits some of the most talented, young jazz students in the world for this workshop. Students selected for this workshop are awarded a full scholarship covering tuition and room and board.
!7th Street Market Community performance throughout the Richmond metropolitan area include: WRIR birthday celebration, 2nd Street Festival, 17th Street Market, and many others.	Community Performances Richmond Youth Jazz Guild performed regularly at the 2nd Street Festival in Richmond, VA.	Student Recognition The Richmond Youth Jazz Guild has performed twice on the local WTVR 6 morning show, Virginia This Morning.
Trombone Shorty Richmond Youth Jazz Guild students participated in a master class with Trombone Shorty before his benefit concert for the Jazz Mentor’s Project. Richmond Youth Jazz Guild students performed on stage with him at the newly opened CenterStage venue.	Virginia This Morning Show The Richmond Youth Jazz Guild has performed twice on the local WTVR 6 morning show, Virginia This Morning.	2nd Street Festival The Richmond Youth Jazz Guild has performed regularly at the annual 2nd Street Festival in Historic Jackson Ward.
