The RICHMOND YOUTH JAZZ GUILD - BLUE NOTE ENSEMBLE participated in the 2014 UNC HS Jazz Festival in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The jazz combo received high marks and was the only community band from Richmond, Virginia participating.
ECHOES OF HARLEM
The RICHMOND YOUTH JAZZ ORCHESRA participated in the 2013 Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Festival at UNC Chapel Hill in North Carolina. The orchestra received high marks and was the only community band from Richmond, Virginia participating.
JAZZ OUT
Annually, the RICHMOND YOUTH JAZZ GUILD hosts the JAZZ OUT. This concert features all of the young musicians enrolled at the Richmond Youth Jazz Guild. Here the Blue Note Ensemble performs "When the Saints Go Marching In".
The Richmond Youth Jazz Guild has performed over at over 200 events both locally and throughout Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina.
